WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Feb. 4, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Applied LNG is pleased to announce that Greg Roche has joined the Company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Roche will oversee Applied LNG's commercial activities in the regions surrounding the Topock, Arizona and Midlothian, Texas production platforms and work with customers and strategic partners to expand the role of LNG in the North American fuel market.

"Greg has a deep knowledge of and rich experience in the LNG market in a variety of applications including transportation and high horsepower," said Cem Hacioglu, President and CEO of Applied LNG. "Greg will lead our efforts to deliver value to our customers and build Applied LNG as the best brand in the industry," he added.

Mr. Roche was previously the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Cosmodyne where he sold LNG production plants and air separation plants to energy and industrial gas companies. He also served as the Vice President of National Fleets and Infrastructure for Clean Energy Fuels where he developed the market for natural gas trucks, lead the build-out of America's Natural Gas Highway nationwide network of natural gas truck fueling stations, and developed high horsepower LNG opportunities. Mr. Roche has a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor's Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Iowa State University.
