  • Topock I was the first LNG facility for transportation in the country (1995)
  • Strategically located to cover a variety of markets
    • We have access to the California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and New Mexico markets
  • Main function is purification and liquefaction of methane
  • Capacity 86,000 gallons per day (Topock I)
    • Currently fully utilized (Topock I - Topock II fuel available)

THE PRODUCT

  • LNG is over 97% liquid methane (CH4)
  • Cryogenic liquid
  • Occupies 1/600th of its volume as a gas, making it convenient to transport in trailers

 

DRIVING FORCE

Price gap between diesel and LNG is at an all-time high at ~$2.00 per diesel gallon

Heavy Duty Trucks

  • Typical consumption is 80 DGE (Diesel gallon equivalents) per day
  • U.S. consumption is currently approximately 90 million DGE per day

Drilling Rigs

  • Typical consumption is 1,200 DGE per day for one rig
  • U.S. consumption is over 2 million DGE per day

Hydraulic Fracturing Fleets

  • Typical consumption is 10,000 DGE per day for one spread
  • Estimated 2013 U.S. consumption is 8 million DGE per day

DISTRIBUTION

  • Applied LNG owns and operates 49 cryogenic LNG trailers
  • Fuel is dispatched directly from our plant and from our Distribution and Logistics Center in Fontana, California
  • LNG can be transported via company owned tractors, third party carriers, or directly by the customer
  • We have a variety of fueling options, which include ten mobile fueling units
